Collection of General Data

When you access our website, some general data are automatically recorded. These data (server log files) include, for example, the type of web browser and operating system used, the domain name of your Internet Service Provider and similar information. These data can not be used to identify or draw conclusions about individual persons. They are required for technical reasons to correctly deliver requested content from web pages and are required for using the internet in the first place. We evaluate this kind of anonymous information for statistical purposes in order to optimise our online presence and underlying technologies.

Like most websites, we are using so-called “cookies”. Cookies are small text files that webservers transfer to your hard disk. In this manner, we automatically receive certain data, such as your IP address, browser model, operating system, etc. In short, information about your computer and your connection to the internet.

Cookies can not be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. The information stored in cookies allows us to facilitate your navigation and to correctly display our web pages.

Under no circumstances will the collected data be disclosed to third parties or linked with personally identifiable data without your consent. Of course, you can still view our website without accepting cookies. Current web browsers are generally set to accept cookies by default. However, you can disable cookies at any time via your browser settings. Please use your web browser’s help function to find out how to change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website might not work if you have deactivated cookies.

As a registered website user, you can access content and services that are exclusive to registered users. Registered users can at any time change or delete the information specified at registration. Of course, we will additionally inform you about any and all personal data we have stored about you upon request. We therefore record the newsletter subscription itself, the fact that a confirmation e-mail has been sent and the receipt of your confirmation response. We will not collect any further data. The information will be used exclusively for dispatching newsletters and will not be disclosed to third parties.

You can at any time revoke your consent to us storing your personal data and using it for sending you newsletters. Every newsletter will contain a corresponding unsubscribe link. Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, small text files which will be stored on your computer and enable us to analyse the way you surf and use our website. The website usage information generated by the cookie will generally be transferred to a Google server in the USA, where it will be stored. As we have activated IP anonymisation on our website, Google will truncate your IP address prior to leaving member States of the European Union or other member States of the European Economic Area. In rare exceptions, the full IP address might be sent to a US-based Google server and truncated there. On behalf of this website operator, Google will use this information to track your usage of this website, create reports on website activity and provide other services related to website and internet usage to the website operator. The IP address that is regularly transferred by your browser when it communicates with Google Analytics will be kept separate from other collected data.

In order to avoid to repeatedly loading the same data, Google Webfonts are stored in your browser’s cache. If your browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access to them, our content will be displayed in a standard font instead. Calling script libraries or font libraries will automatically initiate a connection to the provider of the library. It is theoretically possible that these library providers collect data – however, it remains unclear whether they actually collect data or for what purposes.

Embedded YouTube videos

We provide embedded YouTube videos on some of our web pages. The operator of the relevant plugins is YouTube LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. Google AdWords

Our website uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you came to our website via an advertisement placed by Google, Google AdWords will set a cookie on your computer. This “conversion tracking” cookie is set when a user clicks on an advertising placed by Google. These cookies will expire after 30 days and are not used for personal identification. If a user visits a certain page of our website and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the same user has clicked on an advertisement and was redirected to our page. Each Google AdWords client will set his own, unique cookie. These cookies can therefore not be tracked across websites of different AdWords customers. The information obtained from conversion cookies are used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. These customers will know the total number of users who have clicked on an advertisement and have been redirected to a page containing a conversion tracking tag. However, they will not gain any information that can be used to identify individual users.

If you do not want to take part in anonymous conversion tracking, you can prevent this by not accepting the required tracking cookies – for example, by blocking cookies in general via your browser settings or by setting domain-specific block rules against cookies from the domain “googleleadservices.com”.

Please note that you must not delete any existing opt-out cookies if you want to continue to prevent the recording of measurement data. In case you have deleted all cookies from your browser, you must set the relevant opt-out cookies again

This website uses Google Inc.’s Remarketing functionality. The function is used to serve interest-based advertising to website visitors within Google’s advertising network. The visitor’s browser will store a so-called “cookie” to recognise visitors across websites that are part of Google’s advertising network. These pages may display advertisements based on content that the visitor has previously consumed on web pages that are using Google’s Remarketing feature. According to the company, Google does not collect any personal data during this procedure. If you still do not want to be targeted by Google’s Remarketing function, you can disable it altogether by selecting the appropriate settings under www.google.com/settings/ads. Alternatively, you can disable the use of cookies for interest-based advertising via the Network Advertising Initiative by following the instructions on www.networkadvertising.org/managing/opt_out.asp

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a HubSpot server in the USA and shortened there.
The cookies have a usual lifetime of 13 months. In addition, we delete the personal data collected via HubSpot as soon as the purpose for which it was collected has been fulfilled, unless legal retention periods prevent deletion.
